Religious Control and the Subversion of Witchcraft: A Meditation for Inner Liberation

Meditation practices are sometimes used to explore concepts of inner liberation and personal empowerment.

The following describes a meditation that focuses on these themes.

Overview:
A quiet, undisturbed environment is often chosen for meditation.
Participants may sit comfortably, close their eyes, and take deep breaths to focus attention.
A common visualization involves imagining a bright light originating from the heart and expanding throughout the body.
Areas of darkness or tension within this visualization can be interpreted as internalized limitations.
The visualization may include the light dissolving these areas, which some associate with a sense of peace or empowerment.
Affirmations such as “I am free. I am powerful. I am sovereign.” are sometimes repeated during the process.
Sessions typically last 10-15 minutes, after which individuals may report a sense of increased well-being.
The idea that cycles of control can be changed is a recurring theme in such meditative practices.
