Spring Equinox Rites and Rituals for a Hedgewitch

A wonderful liminal time, when day and night are equal, the Spring Equinox is a good time for spellwork that requires turning the tides and
affecting change in the world.

If performed at special liminal places such as the seashore, a forest edge, or in a hedgerow, it can add extra power to the work.

This is a good time of year to physically begin the work that you dreamt of over the long winter months and dedicate yourself to during Imbolc.

At this time of year, fields and tools such as ploughs were often blessed and “charmed”, and so you can also do this with your ritual tools.

Begin your spell crafting to bring about the change that you want to see in the world.

Spellcraft is not enough, however, for we must also physically and mentally work to create the change that we want to see in the world.

So, dependent upon your intention and dedication, now you must physically and mentally do the work too that you have set yourself upon.

It’s not enough to just think about doing something; one must do it.

The Hedge Druid’s Craft is about helping yourself, as well as others.

It’s about what you do in the world, first and foremost, not what you think.
